I'm totally spoiled and the first to admit it. I got to see WICKED twice. I loved it both times. This time I was able to see it with my kids and Nanc. Our friends the Allreds knew we wanted Wicked tickets for our kids and they sold us some of their extras. They could have made some good money for these, but sold them to us at face value. Super sweet. We gave them to our kids for Christmas and April 22 couldn't get here fast enough!
Out evening began with dinner at Hires. We met Nanc and ate Big H's and fries. Dinner was fun. Both Lauren and I had our WICKED t-shirts on and we were stoked! This time our seats were further back. In fact, we were on the last row of the balcony, but we came prepared. We all had binoculars and water bottles. Garrett and Lauren were all smiles. They couldn't believe they were there. The crowd was electric. People were so excited for WICKED.
During the show, I received a text from Travis asking for the kids to call him and let him know what they thought. They LOVED it. A man in front of us turned around during the intermission and asked Lauren how many times she had seen it. Lauren, shyly answered she hadn't. He couldn't believe it. He said, "She knows every word." I quickly apologized for her singing, but he stopped me and said "NO, she's right on key." He said he loved that my kids were so knowledgeable about the music. It was amazing! As we walked out Garrett and Lauren just wanted to find a way to see it again. I understood. I am so grateful that our friends were so generous with their tickets so my kids could experience their first Broadway play.

So glad they loved it...sorry about the nosebleed seats. I didn't realize they were sky high until we got there. :) I, too, and so wanting to find a way to see it again.
