4th treatment - July 3, 2008

Yesterday I had my fourth treatment with my Aunt Jack. Today's treatment was a "light" chemo. I got to skip taxotere and carboplatin and I received only herceptin. It took about 1 1/2 hours. My aunt brought a fun little hand massage kit with her that I did while getting treatment. We chatted and the time just flew. Following treatment we went to Baker's de Normandie in Holladay and had lunch together. I appreciate her accompanying me and her friendship. Following lunch I packed up and headed down to Provo to chaperon Lauren and 3 other dancers at the Days Inn for her dance company's performance at Stadium of Fire for the 4th of July.

What a nice aunt! You are so nice to chaperone the dancers...it can get pretty crazy! Kaella did SOF 2 years ago and loved it. I hope Lauren had a great time.

I can't believe all the things you still manage to do while in chemo. I always thought chemo knocked people completely out of commission but you do such a good job of maintaining some sort of normalcy for your family. Way to go!

Julie, you are such an inspiration to me. I know that you are going to make it through this.
My Cancer is totally different but Cancer is Cancer and it is ugly any way you look at it.
I have been told that they dont even have a Chemo for my type of Cancer. (Carcinoid Cancer)

Keep your spirits up. If you need anything let us know.
