I'm about 4 weeks behind, but I'm going to try and catch up. We had just arrived home from attending the Panama Temple Dedication to make it to my 10th treatment. Jacki, my mother-in-law, and my cute Lauren were my chemo buddies today. Today was rushed because we decided to cash out my kids savings bonds and change them into a great CD rate at an Idaho Credit Union that will mature when the kids turn 18. However, due to our rush, I forgot my numbing cream for my port and forgot to take my steroids before I went in for treatment. I was just a little off because we had been in Panama and escaping real life for a while. Anyways, Jacki, Lauren and me played gin rummy, ate kettle corn and were the last patients before UCS closed for the day. Lauren liked coming with us for the first two hours, but kept asking when we were going to be done. I'm not sure she'll be wanting to come again any time soon. I'm so grateful for Jacki and her help with our kids so that we could go to Panama. She is such a blessing in my life. I'm grateful for her and appreciate all the help that she has been to us.
