Today was my 16th treatment and it was a "light" treatment. Tiffany Boase accompanied me for this quick treatment and we had fun grabbing a bite to eat on the way home. If you are following along, you can tell I'm getting really sick of chemo. I welcomed this "light" week in hopes that my new mouth sores would heal and my hair would not thin so much. Neither happened, but I am taking solace that I only have four treatments left. This week I picked up a head cold. It is the first cold/virus that I have had while on chemo. Colds aren't a problem unless it is accompanied with a fever over 100.4 degrees. Luckily, I never ran a fever and just kept up on lots of fluids and tried to rest despite it being Ashton's 5th birthday and taking 11 five year olds to the movie theater for his kids party. We also the family party on Sunday. He had a great birthday and loved all the Star Wars stuff he rec'd.
